Internet Depositions
Internet depositions allow you to attend depositions without leaving your city, your office or even your home. With this service if you have the appropriate internet connection and realtime client software, you’re good to go, wherever you (or your expert or client) may be.
Gramann Reporting’s expertise in providing depositions streamed across the internet is unparalleled. Many of our Certified Realtime Reporters are very experienced with utilizing this technology, and its associated hardware and infrastructure needs, and will help successfully deliver the content you require without fail.
Text Only Streaming:
For many years we’ve been streaming the court reporter’s realtime transcript feed to those onsite via wire and wireless, and at the same time broadcasting this feed to remote locations using products like LiveNote and Courtroom Connect’s Speche alike. Gramann Reporting has a universal streaming medium that will allow a realtime feed to be streamed to any realtime receive (client) software that uses a serial feed, including: Transcript Manager Pro, Bridge, CaseView, Summation and LiveNote. There will no longer be the limitation for you to use only LiveNote for this purpose, and then switch back to Summation (or other) once you’re offline. The door is now swung wide open for text streaming to all realtime software!
Video/Audio Streaming:
With our Courtroom Connect partner, Gramann Reporting is able to bring to any location, where a broadband connection exists, high quality video and audio from any site that likewise has a broadband internet connection. View in realtime the live video and audio. Connect to the conference with a speakerphone to participate, and you are virtually there! You can then add on the above text streaming to make the package complete.
For purposes of any type of internet streaming, we require advance notice so that we can be onsite to check the internet connection for speed, accessibility, and barriers (like firewalls, etc.) that may inhibit the broadcast to the distribution server. Several days' advance notice is preferred so that if a problem is discovered, there is enough time available to resolve the issue. A sample feed needs to be successfully streamed to be certain we can deliver as you require.
“This note is to thank you for the exceptional professionalism your agency has extended to us over numerous days of depositions. Julie Lyle is absolutely the finest and most accurate court reporter that we have encountered nationwide. We are particularly appreciative of the flexibility you have shown under very stressful and dynamic situations.”
